Hes an 8 week old Maltese Bichon Hybrid. Is he old enough to wear a collar or should I wait until he is a little bit older?
Maltichons are Hybrid dogs from what I read.
I ask this because he turned 3 months today, and is already a bulldozer. Very loving and affectionate, but strong. He doesn't seem to mind the collar, but I have been told they simply are not enough to hold a full grown dogge and that a harness is in order. Please respond if you are familiar with the breed. IT IS NOT AN ENGLISH BULLDOG!!
or should I wait to get it a collar or harness? pros and cons?

I am getting a Bichon puppy and was wondering which was best for the breed, collar or harness. They are a small dog with soft fluffy fur.
I have a toy fox terrier and she is so tiny. When we go outside she shakes. You can tell she is freezing. She bites at anything on her (clothes, collar or harness).
I need to know what size of harness i need for when i get my papillon puppy, i dont want to get a collar since hyper dogs would just end up choking themselves x.x
I'm in the process of getting ready to adopt a papillon puppy, and want to know what type of harness people recommend I use? Does it matter? I see some that say they are padded which is suppose to make them more comfortable. Can I just get any type or is there some that are better than others? I don't need any of those kinds that prevent jumping or anything, just a simple harness for walks. Thanks!
My puppy is 11 weeks old. He is a maltese/shih tzu mix. I put a collar on him with the ID tag. Should I use a leash to attach on the collar or use a harness? He doesn't like it when i try to walk him with the leash. my friend suggested getting a harness.
